Listen many people are being told to dig into thier pockets and get in position for some big announcement. and YTB Franchise "considerations". Listen I got a Call Yesterday from someone who was not told by a family Member that they could Join YTB for Free.

Like I tell people if its so good then let me join for free and show me how to recruit people and and earn the $500 to get started as an RTA from profit. Fact is if you Sell 6 other people to get started in YTB That is only $300 in your Pocket you are Still Short $200 to get started.

Thats the reality of it now imagine your paying $50 a month still trying to make back your first $500 investment. In this Economy it is going to take you awhile to find 6 people to give you $500.

Join YTB for free and see the response you get when you show people the business and then tell them $500! If you are still friends after that.

Join Traverus and then Call them up and say hey you can get started now for under $200. Watch the difference. It's simple and that is how different it is working Traverus than it is YTB. More people are able to Join. That is Why 80% of the entire company in Traverus Got a Check Last Week!

It took YTB 3 years to get 3k people...Traverus did it in 6 months.

It took YTB 5 years to get 10k people...Traverus did 10k in a little over a Year.

The writting is on the wall as Traverus is the only Fully International Company in over 98 Countries that we will be the Largest Travel Network.

Adrianne You forgot #13. Traverus is still in the exspansion phase, which seasoned MLMer's know is where the real money is made. People who have been in YTB for over 3 years or from the beginning are making the big bucks. The timing is now for those wishing to join Traverus. Lets do the math.. If you get $50 sign up bonus for each personal RTA (YTB and Traverus are on equal ground here) and you sign up 10 people YTB Traverus Friends and family paid $5000 $1190 You paid 500 119 Total paid to company $5500 $1309 Company paid you $500 $500 Company keeps $5000 $809 % paid to RTA .0909 (less than 10%) .3819 Just from this alone make me wonder who's best interest are the powers to be concerned with. Traverus pays 4 times (based on this example ) back to the ones doing the work. Cost for CTA certification $149 $50 (3 times less) Cost for Association cert $149 Free (100% less) Monthy web cost $50 $50 Ablility to have other income streams Capped Sky is the limit David

YTB Royal Caribbean

Let me clarify point number two: You can either start as a Certified Travel Agent for $399.95, or you can start as a Referring Travel Agent at $119.95 and earn your way to CTA for free. If you start as a CTA, you can earn your 70% travel commissions and your higher referral commissions right away, but you need to take the free online training (5 hours) in order to get your card, start working directly with the suppliers, and take advantage of FAM trips. But you can go on Traverus Member Trips right away. If you start as an RTA, you can become a CTA by referring two agents (either RTA or CTA) during your first 7 days, or have 12 agents total in your group (no deadline). If you upgraded to CTA for free, then you will have to pay $50 to get your card and other materials. In the meantime, as an RTA you qualify for your referral commissions (including residuals), 20% travel commissions, and can go on Traverus Member Trips. Adriane

Derrick was on point with his 4/2/07 9:56pm comments. Even if the price was $25 to join. People who do not have a vision or a dream will join and do nothing to help themselves. They will depend on you to build their business for them. Their attitude is "It's only $25, I can afford to lose that". Personally I am glad it cost $500. This price automaticly weeds out the fence staddlers. We have to work a little harder to find the serious business partners but I know I am not waisting my time with someone looking for a free ride. I want to be part of a company whose leaders have long-term vision to build a multi-billion dollar company and not settle for a small-time internet travel company. Does Traverus own their booking engine. YTB owns a controlling percentage of the company that provides the travel booking service not only for YTB but other internet travel websites. YTB will own the bank that will be available for customers to finance the automobile they buy from my website and I get payed on the auto purchase and the financing. So you can see it's not just about $199 or the $500. It's about the long-term vision to take this company to the level no other Network Marketing or Traditional Company had acheived. (Ownership not Rentership) Ced

Taking a MLM to no other level is a broad statement. At some peoint we have to look at the numbers. When a company is slow to report earnings that's a red flag. Remember what happened with the banks a few years ago on the street. Elliot Spitzer tore a new one at some companies. One thing I have noticed is there's not really any mention as to the products. Is the main point to sell the business? What if a person wanted to personally produce? What is the benefit to the agent? How does it compare to what's out in the market, and why do travel agents at this point have a brick and morter? I know some will say the products don't matter, but at sometime a product has to be sold. Now if the company is based on personal comsumption, that's another red flag. ***Don't believe the hype, always read the type*** Cornelius

Marcus Brewer

Traverus National Exective

Speaking on credibility. If you want to know how many problems YTB is having in the Travel Industry. Just look at the fact that cannot book directly through major Hotel vendors such as Marriot hotels or the Hilton or Hyatt! What Kind of Travel Agent or legitimate travel business cannot book clients Directly with these vendors. I am not talking about the travelocity booking website that has a 50/50 split of commissions before you see a dime. I am talking about functiong as a true travel agent which YTB reps cannot do because they are not a real Travel hosting agency. They are a Referring Agent that is different.

Why would someone pay $500.00 to be a Sub travel agent and not be able to service thier clients fully is beyond me. You cannot Book through Royal Caribbean Cruiselines or Perillio tours or Norweigan Cruise lines. All these Limitations when you can Work with all these vendors for only $199 with Traverus and be a True Travel Agent and be Fully International. I have Travel Agents in Germany, Italy, South America and Isreal I even have one in Japan. YTB just got into Canada after 7 years I already had Travel agents in Canada before they got there and by the time YTB hits any other of the Travel markets, Traverus will already be there with a Price point of 199 vs 500 and people are not going to pay more money to be less of a travel agent it does not makes sense. so YTB vs Traverus is no comparison at all. Spend your time trying to part people from $500.oo + an additional $150 to get Trained LOL if you want to. Your only pushing a compensation plan not a real product and that is YTB no longer has Travel Agent License or Credentials with IATA.

It's a huge discussion all over the Net YTB Canada vs Traverus Canada.
Once you look at YTB or Traverus side by side you soon find there really is no comparison its night and Day. People who typically switch from YTB to Traverus just found that no matter how good of a recruiter they are, the name of the game is duplication and they quickly found out that many people cannot consistently sell a product for $500.00 6 times over and over to keep getting those bonuses. Plus you have to give your first 3 or 6 to your upline. So you really need 9 to 12 people before you get your first bonus. That is crazy. You will not get and residual income off the first 6 people you enroll they go to your sponsor its called a 6 up. Sad part is the DSA direct selling association which YTB is apart of knows that the average networker only signs up 2.3 people into a networking opportunity so the vast majority never make it to the power team and never make any real money. YTB rep earning compensation report also shows that as well. YTB Commissions reports :-(

Wow Look at the Numbers starting with the first line The Free Rep Position! 80% of the reps in the company are in the free spots because they could not afford the $500 Start up Cost. That is proof the program is over priced for the Market place. Most of YTB Growth comes from Free Reps and not Agents.

Overal Active Reps is close to 15% that are not Directors and not making any real income at all. All the other directors positions that make up %5 of the company making any real commissions. These are the people in the success from home magazine and the top income earners but as you see the Vast Majority Make nothing.

You have less than a 1% chance of becoming a director in YTB. Because of the 6 up compensation plan and the $500 Start up plus the $150 training Fee. $650 to turn around and get 6 other people to do the same to and get $50 a piece. You don't get a $1000 bonus for your first six. Your upline does you don't get that till your next 6. and The Numbers Show that most of your TEAM will NEVER reach it and you set them up in a compensation plan and company where they will most likely fail than succeed. These are numbers from YTB.com own site http://www.ytb.com/downloads/YTB_IncomeDisclosure_2-8-08.pdf

Listen Position yourself with a Real Travel Company that has more average people making above average incomes more than any other company. I have been able to retire from my 6 year Management position at the bank and you can make money allot easier with this company with a product at 199 than you can for 500 in this economy.

Give me a call and get your questions answered.
If you see like we see that going around trying to twist $500 out of people is not going to be highly duplicatible to build a downline give me a call!

YTB Franchises

Wow! This is one of the Hottest topics on the Internet! YTB company and Reps are Furious that anyone especially someone in Traverus would discuss their business model Change. They want to shut our mouths Big Time. It has been a Fued since the beginning when when the Brick and Mortar Traverus Changed its Business Model from a 22 year old Traditional Travel Agency to a Networking business model. YTB Franchises Transition will experience what Traverus and any other company that chooses to change it's business model will...attrition. That is a fact.

I have worked for Corporate America and Managed Sales Teams and Departments for 20 years. I know what happens when any organization makes changes. First thing is your communication and YTB Franchise is wise by spoon feeding information. You have to give people bits at a time to Digest. So you start with your Leadership and management to get them all on the same page first. That was done 3 weeks ago. Then you start packaging your message to the field about the YTB Franchise transition.

Now just because there was a Chat room discussion about YTB Franchise. They are doing all this damage control and spin sending Emails to the leadership. Im like WOW! Sensative!

Well for those who inquiry minds and want to know the facts without all the Drama here ya go.
YTB Franchises will help YTB introduce more YTB products into their business model.
YTB Franchises wants to be able to use the word "franchises in a Network Marketing Model" to get more acceptance in Recruiting.
YTB Franchises wants to get into the International markets.
RTA's do not have to Switch to the YTB Franchise model and can keep their downlines.
RTA's Will be invited to switch to the YTB Fanchise Model and will get an good deal to do it. But not required to switch to the Franchise.
RTA's who Switch to the YTB Franchise model will have access to everything in the RTA model as well.

More coming at Convention Folks. Have a Great one. and don't be so threatened and Call us so many names because we are both in the Travel Industry and we should both keep upto date on what other companies are doing in our industry.

I was with YTB and have nothing bad to say about them. I just saw a fresh Start with a Ground floor Company That was Already international and Cost Less Called Traverus. I felt more people could afford the program and I was was right. I am glad I made the change. and Glad for all of the people who are doing well in this Industry.

YTB Franchises

Sad Changes coming for many hard working Americans in YTB.

15-Jul-2008

Regulation FD Disclosure

Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On July 15, 2008, Mr. Scott Tomer, Chief Executive Officer of YTB International, Inc. (the "Company"), announced that the Company is contemplating the replacement of its referring travel agent ("RTA") business model with the implementation of a franchise operating system, potentially in 2009. The Company expects that a franchising model, if adopted, would facilitate the Company's expansion into additional markets by providing more comprehensive training and a new proprietary e-commerce platform. Details regarding price, product offerings and the conversion plan are all under consideration, but the Company anticipates that its existing RTA base would be treated favorably under its forthcoming proposal. If a franchising model is adopted, its distribution is expected to be managed by subsidiary and current marketing arm of the Company, YourTravelBiz.com, also known as YTB.com.

The information in this report shall not be deemed "filed" for purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended (the "Exchange Act"), or incorporated subject to the liabilities of that section or Sections 11 and 12(a)(2) of the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the "Securities Act"), and shall not be incorporated by reference in any registration statement or other document filed under the Securities Act or the Exchange Act, whether made before or after the date hereof, regardless of any general incorporation language in such filings, except as shall be expressly set forth by specific reference in such a filing.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As a Pastor this is very sad to see. This Change to YTB Franchises is going to affect Hundreds of Thousands of Hard working YTB rta's. YTB has struggled with alot of battles with thier business model of recruiting for $500 and it's no secret for those in the know that retention is a problem. When you look at the income disclosure statements you see the real numbers in YTB behind all the flash videos and meetings.

This move to YTB Franchises confirms all of the rumors that YTB is going to start selling many products and not be a real travel company but a Marketing arm like Amway. YTB Franchises will have YTB Cars, YTB Flowers, YTB Mortgage, YTB Insurance, YTB, YTB, YTB- YTB Franchises what every product they want to sell to their massive downline.

People who are interested in continuing to have travel Perks will look for companies like Traverus. That has been selling Travel for over 22years as a Brick and Mortar Travel Agency that has no intention of selling anything but Travel, and the most of it. Traverus has a True Home Based Certified Travel Agent position. YTB business model of its YTB RTA and YTB CRTA postions have never been denied by the YTB Corporation as not being anything Close to a Certified Travel Agent. Only the YTB field directors and YTB power team leaders and YTB presentations would have people believe that is some how the same.

Those who are intersted in Traverus and our 22 year old Travel Agent Postions Give me a call.

YTB or Traverus Florida

1. If you treat your travel business like a real business you can triple your $500 investment with one group cruise. Been there - Done that. Unless you are a master networker you will struggle to make back your investment. Become a Travel Professional, book 1 or 2 group 3 day cruises and people will come to you with money in hand. 2. The other travel company - Traverus. My advice is to make sure you understand the complete system. If you are a networker they have a matrix comp plan which limits your income potential. YTB's comp plans pays on infinity. (No break aways) 3. Anyone can book travel through Traverus' corporate website. Which competes with reps website. How long do you think the company will support its sales reps if the company puts on a media advertisement program of its corporate site. With YTB you have to go through a reps website to book travel. 4. I am sold on YTB - Best $500 I have ever invested. CED

YTB Reps are not permitted to show checks or lure people into the business by talking about how much money we make, but if it wasn't working for me financially, I assure you, I wouldn't be in it. I can say that my first 5 months in the business I worked primarily the network marketing side. In my 2nd month I'd recouped my entire investment, had the monthly fee reimbursed and moved into my power team. Before long, I'd also started bonusing. Cedric is absolutely right about the travel sid eof the biz. RO

I can understand YTB as having reps who should represent, but if looking at A or B travel company I would think most people with everything being equal would go for the one with "equal opportunity" for all. The issue isn't equal opportunity, Cornelius. The issue is simply professionalism, leadership, etc. Basically, if you meet the standards that have been put in place for all directors, regardless of race, creed, color, etc. and if you WANT the position, you'll get it. Actually, it's pretty automatic, but I think the clause is there as a 'CYA' RO

YTB Scandal

Guys...you can go on and on about this. The bottom line...who has made the most money. Your discussions are good to a point, but if no one makes any money then they are all mute. People want to see something they can count. In this case, it's money. The proof is in the results. He who has the biggest pile knows the most about whatever it is that he or she is presenting. My question to the both of you is.....who has the biggest pile of money? Not your upline...not those people in the magazines, but which one of you. That's who the people are going to follow. I've seen your arguments many times before. It's not only with YTB orany other MLM, but each one makes virtually the same arguments. I can only say that, because I've been there a number of times. YTB Red Carpet Compensation plan

To me YTB is just like any other company. They are in business to make money, which isn't a bad thing. I just think people need to know the contract they sign at the very least have a good idea. My issue with the Director level is that looks like it has too much wiggle room to have a glass ceiling or any other ceiling. I could be wrong. I have seen contracts that have noncompetes in them, but family wide? I can understand YTB as having reps who should represent, but if looking at A or B travel company I would think most people with everything being equal would go for the one with "equal opportunity" for all. This isn't just about YTB, but I think people need to step away from the table and not drink so much of the kool-Aid many of the MLM companies serve. People love a good speech, but the contracts are king
