People want to see something they can count. In this case, it's money. The proof is in the results. He who has the biggest pile knows the most about whatever it is that he or she is presenting. I'd say to the first part... anyone who is serious about their long-term stability with an MLM and starts with a risky MLM is unwise at best. There are too many out there that are solid, have the track record, proven success and stand the test of time. About the founders of YTB, I think you're mistaken about some of your info. YTB is the first MLM that they've owned. As far as their personal business goes, the founder, Coach Lloyd Tomer sold his business to his son. In response to this: If the only product that you sell is "travel" in the tradition sense of the word, you certainly DO NOT have the same product that we have in YTB. YTB has lots of other travel related products and websites that your company does not have including: a celebrity golf website, sporting tickets, theater tickets, event tickets, honeymoon registry packages, passports, flowers, etc. The bottom line in this as in life is: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! There are no free rides here people. You absolutely get what you pay for. Traverus I'm sure is good at what they do, but as compared to YTB, they just don't compare. The company simply does not and I suppose at this point, cannot offer people in its business the quality or quantity of goods and services that YTB offers. Indeed, YTB is the preferred brand, as proven by the fact that YTB didn't go to Travelocity to ask to be in partnership with them... they came to YTB... as did many of our other partners - RO

These are all good points but when you think about building a team you must first think about the team. 1.Cost can my team afford what I am offering and can they teach the same thing to their people. 2.Is the product a good product to market 3.Can your team follow you because you will help them to be successful You can have everything you want in life if you help enough people get what they want. Keep in mind folks. YTB is seasoned with veteran MLMers in leadership. Traverus just came on the scene. It was a brick and mortar travel agency but just got into the MLM biz and has a limited at best track record for both MLM and online travel. The failure rate for MLMs is higher than that of normal businesses that have figures of 95% failing in the first 5 years. I wouldn't be so fast to jump in just because the entry fee is a little lower. RO

I agree with Regina. You have to look at more than just the price when you're signing up for or considering a business opportunity. Look at what you're getting for your money. They're a lot of travel companies out there that are card mills in disquise. Also look at the stability of the company itself. YTB is 6 years old. We're growing faster than ever. . . over 10,000 RTA's signed in only the first 3 months of 2007. We're soon going Global, and it's been announced that we will be featured AGAIN in Success from Home magazine in 2008. Let's also not forget that YTB is on the Stock Exchange. YTB is the best travel business out there. I can't see how anyone can say otherwise. Dana

That's pretty amazing to successfully start and build an INTERNATIONAL travel agency strong enough to have relationships to be the only travel agency to Host the American Idol Cruise, Price is Right Cruise, and Family Fued Cruise. You have to know what your doing and have some experience for those companies to endorse you. The company is international YTB is planning to go global. But with those who are experienced in recruiting internationally know that you cannot sell overpriced products in other countrys. By the Time YTB hits global for $500 the market will already have heard about $100 and it will be difficult. Our little insurance up against this corporate giants. our Travel company becoming Expedia exterminators, us against price line. Listen Business is Business and when you sell your stock as an owner when your stock is at its highest point ever....business is good. Remember I still have my YTB Portal I paid $500 I know what I am talking about here is my YTB Site www.atravelwebsite.com I found the same product for $100 www.travelbizinc.com I cant in good conscience sell the same product with that overpriced mark up. plus another $150 to get certified. even if a person buys certification it's less than the start up.
